The centrifuge utilizes a single flat-belt drive with a low-speed, vertically mounted, air-cooled motor. The system includes process valves, electrical controls, spare parts and tools.
Controls include an Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLC with PanelView 600 operator interface for monitoring bowl speed, discharges, operating water pressure, motor amperage and temperature, safety alarms, beer outlet turbidity and vibration.
